Due to the All Saints Day, from Saturday, October 28 until November 2, special regulation of traffic in Zagreb will be in effect.
This year, as in previous years, in the cemetery areas, the usual traffic restrictions are in effect, so access to these areas will only be possible with ZET vehicles, taxis, vehicles for the disabled and vehicles with special permission, reports Poslovni.hr on October 27, 2017.
MIROGOJ AREA
From Saturday, 28 October to Tuesday, October 31, and on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 7:30 am to 9 pm, traffic will be closed for all motor vehicles except regular ZET bus lines, taxi cabs and vehicles with a special permit on Mirogojska road - from Remetska road to roundabout - and Aleja Hermana Bollea street.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 7.30 am to 9 pm, traffic will be closed in Aleja H. Bollea street, Mirogojska road from Rockefellerova street to Aleja Hermana Bollea street, as well as in Remetska Road and Kameniti stol street, for all vehicles except ZET vehicles, taxis and vehicles with special permission.
Buses will go from Bijenicka Street via H. Bolle to the starting point at the morgue and via Mirogojska road on the way back, while buses heading for the Crematorium will stop at the bus stop next to the arcades, and continue on Mirogojska road via Remetska street to the Crematorium.
Taxi traffic to Mirogoj will only be allowed from the direction of Mirogojska road and via H. Bolle street in the direction of Bijenicka. Taxis are forbidden to turn left on Remetska road from the direction of Crematorium to the Mirogoj arcades. From the direction of the Crematorium, at the intersection of Remetska and Mirogojska, it is obligatory to go straight, i.e. southward.
Cars and vehicles with a special permission are allowed to drive through Remetska road from Mirogojska to the south entrance - the parking lot at Crematorium and through the parking lot towards the north, while the vehicles coming from the north (Kameniti stol street) are allowed to enter the northern entrance and into the parking lot.
KAPTOL AREA
From Saturday, October 28 to Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm, Kaptol Street will be closed for all traffic. On Wednesday 1 November 2017, one-way traffic (southward) on Nova Ves street, from Vrančićeva to Degenova will be in effect from 07.30 am to 9 pm. Turning left from Ribnjak to Degenova street will be forbidden.
SREBRNJAK AREA
On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm, the following traffic restrictions will be introduced: Bijenička street - from Srebrnjak to Lašćinska 144 - and Lašćinska street - from Lašćinski Borovac to Bijenicka street - will be closed for traffic.
One-way traffic will be introduced in Bijenička street, from Aleja H.Bollea to Srebrnjak (direction north), as well as in Srebrnjak Street from Bijenička to the roundabout on Petrova. Turning right at the roundabout in Petrova Street into Srebrnjak street will be forbidden. Parking at Bijenička street from Aleja H. Bolle to Srebrnjak street will be forbidden.
MIROŠEVEC AREA
On Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 October, and on October 31, 2017. from 07.00 am to 8.00 pm, Aleja Tišine Road will be closed for all traffic except for ZET vehicles and taxis. On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 07:30 am to 8:00 pm, the following streets will be closed for all traffic, except for ZET vehicles and taxis: R. Kolaka street from Ljubijska to Grižanska street, and Giržanska, from M. Deanovica to R. Kolaka street, in Novačka from Potočka to Pesteri Street, Aleja Tišine street, Mirna Street, Marble Gate, intersection of Oporovečka, R. Kolaka, Grižanska street, and the intersections of all the streets that reach Grižanska between Malekova and R.Kolaka street.
MARKOVO POLJE AREA
From Saturday, October 28 at 07:00 am to Tuesday, October 31 to 8 pm and on Thursday, November 2, 2017, one-way traffic to Aleja Mira in the east direction (from Zlatarska in the direction of Vugrovečka) will be introduced from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm for all vehicles except ZET. On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm, Vugrovečka street from Varaždiska to the cemetery Markovo polje Cemetery and Aleja Mira street will be closed for all traffic.
Access to traffic restriction areas will only be permitted for vehicles of ZET, TAXI, vehicles for the disabled and vehicles with special permits.
