Pandakon will take place at Močvara on September 23 and 24.
The fifth edition of Pandakon, a convention dedicated to Asian culture, will take place at Močvara next weekend and a daily ticket will cost HRK 10. You can buy the tickets directly at the entrance, where you will also be able to find out more about the event and get more details about the programme.
The convention focuses mostly on Japan and its culture, but it puts emphasis on South Korea and China as well. The first edition of the convention took place in 2013 and it has been a traditional September event at Močvara ever since.
The programme consists of lectures, screenings, panels, quizzes, group activities, evening dance programme (with karaoke and Just Dance) and a cosplay contest, and winners will have a chance to win great prizes, including food at Ginger Sushi or an adventure at ExitGames Escape Room in Zagreb.
The main theme is Japan, with sub-themes that include retro Japan in the ‘80s and the ‘90s and 100 years of Japanese animation.
