25FPS Experimental Film Festival Starts Today

The Festival takes place September 28 - October 1 at Studentski centar.

25 FPS is an international experimental film & video festival for passionate lovers of the seventh art. The 13^th edition of this quirky festival is taking place from September 28 - October 1 at Zagreb’s Studentski Centar.

While for most Hollywood movie lovers this may present a confusing and disturbing experience, for cinephiles this is a rare opportunity to glimpse into the world of independent non-commercial visual art.

The festival is organized by 25 FPS, Association for Audio-Visual Research from Zagreb, a group of film buffs that succeed in attracting the best experimentalists in the world, this year having to choose the 25 films from a staggering total of 1776 entrants wanting to compete for the Grand Jury Prize.
