Autumn in the Air (Photos)

By 1 October 2017

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

Every season has its advantages (yes, even winter, even though I despise being cold), but the calmness of sunny autumn afternoons has that certain that 'je ne sais qoui' about it, making you forget about the imminent freeze you'll have to suffer through soon.

Everyone is outside, strolling through the finally not overcrowded streets, everything is bursting with life and colour, nature's grand finale, as Lauren DeStefano said.

Isn't there something poetic about it?

Here are a couple of photos for you to enjoy an autumn day in Zagreb, easy like Sunday afternoon!

Zagreb Pantheon is without a doubt the most charming autumn spot in the city.

But we can't really say that the centre is any less stunning.

We even saw Mr Josip Kufner lighting the gas lanterns, with a little helper assisting him in doing this fascinating job,
