An inspiring exhibition opens at Croatian Design Superstore today at 6 PM: distinguished Croatian artists set out to illustrate 24 most commendable scientific and cultural projects funded by the Adris Foundation.
The illustrations are featured in a book designed by Bruketa&Žinić OM advertising agency. A small wonder in itself, the seemingly minimalistic book cover reacts to touch and transforms to reveal an inscription spelling out the word hope (nada in Croatian).
„The more you read, the greater the hope“ says the project motto. The word hope literally gets deeper the longer you hold the book in your hands, but the catchphrase is also underlining the importance of knowledge and pointing out that there still might be hope for a better future in this country. Except if you're a Spanish speaker - in that case, the title might leave you a bit confused at a first glance.
You can get a sneak peek in the video below, while the exhibition is open until April 16th if you want to flip through the actual book and get a chance to leave your mark on the hopeful cover.
